Las Segundas Escrituras (Someter a un Astral) propone al lector imaginar la vida de los personajes en un planeta donde la supervivencia solo es posible en un continente que tiene una franja de temperatura aceptable, y una atmósfera terraformada; sin embargo, los seres de la antigua Tierra encuentran en este planeta Esperanza otras formas de vida, ya sean nativas de este mundo o venidas de Astrales.
